MEMBER MASTERMINDS MORNING

The Bouquet Theory of Building a Brand
📍 Main Street Florist

What if building a memorable brand is a lot like creating a beautiful floral arrangement?

Join us as we explore Alex Hormozi's "Bouquet Theory" of branding and discuss why successful brands aren't built by accident—they're built through intentional choices that shape how customers perceive your business. We'll unpack practical ideas you can apply to businesses of any size, including the three key metrics that reveal whether your brand is growing stronger or slowly fading.

To bring the concept to life, Main Street Florist will create a fresh floral arrangement as we discuss each element of the theory. The finished bouquet will be given away to one lucky attendee to take home as our attendance prize.

We'll also enjoy coffee and Dual Delights' famous blueberry cinnamon rolls while connecting with fellow Chamber members.

Whether you've been in business for 30 years or are just getting started, you'll leave with practical ideas to intentionally shape the way customers think about your business.

CARLINVILLE SPIRIT WEEK - DAY 4

CARLINVILLE GIVES DAY

What It’s All About

Our local businesses and organizations do so much more than just provide goods and services, they are the heart of our community. From sponsoring Little League teams to funding local benefits, our businesses give back quietly all year long. Today, we are shining a light on that generosity to amplify their impact!

How to Get Involved (And Earn Your Final Drawing Entry!)

Today is all about keeping your dollars local to support the businesses and organizations that support our town. You can earn your entry in one of three ways:

  • Pack the Place: Grab a bite to eat or do some shopping at a participating local spot. A portion of today's proceeds at these locations will go directly to local causes. (See Giving Guide Below!!)

  • Spend Money Locally (Storefronts & Service Heroes!): Buy a gift at a boutique, or take care of errands with our service members. Get your oil changed, book a haircut, or pay a local provider - it all counts!

  • Support a Local Cause: Make a direct donation to your favorite local Carlinville charity, benefit, or nonprofit member.

How to Share & Win!

To get your final entry into our massive 62626 Mega-Prize Pack drawing, let us know how you supported Carlinville today by 11:59 PM:

  1. The Main Thread (Easiest!): Head to the Carlinville Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page, find our pinned Thursday "Carlinville Gives" post, and leave a comment tagging the local businesses or nonprofit organizations you spent money with or supported today! (e.g., "Ate lunch at [Restaurant] for Pack the Place and got my truck serviced at [Local Garage]!")

  2. Send Us a Direct Message (DM): If you made a direct donation to a charity or want to keep your spending private, just send a screenshot of your donation or receipt straight to the Chamber's inbox. (Feel free to blur out any sensitive info!)

What You’re Playing For:

62626 Mega-Prize Pack drawing including:

  • A Chamber Insider Membership

  • The Dress Code: Wear your official 62626 gear, your favorite Carlinville merch, or simply deck yourself out in our town colors (red and blue).

  • Submit Your Photo: To get your entry into our massive end-of-the-week drawing, share your outfit with us by 11:59 PM on Wednesday using one of these two options:

    1. Tag Us on Social Media: Post your photo on Facebook or Instagram, tag the Carlinville Chamber of Commerce, and make sure your post privacy is set to Public (🌐) so we can see it.

    2. Comment on Facebook Post: Head to the Carlinville Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page, find our pinned Wednesday Spirit Day post, and drop your photo right in the comments.

Our community is built on the shoulders of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Today is all about giving them the shout-out they deserve! We want to recognize the neighbors, volunteers, youth coaches, and quiet helpers who make Carlinville a better place to live.

The Hometown Hero who receives the most nominations will win the ultimate 6|26|26 Mega-Prize Pack live on the Square on Friday!

CARLINVILLE SPIRIT WEEK - DAY 1

CARLINVILLE KINDNESS DAY

We are kicking off our 62626 Spirit Week by flooding our town with good vibes! Carlinville Kindness Day is all about intentional, simple acts of generosity. Whether it’s buying a coffee for a stranger or leaving a glowing note for a local business, today is the day to prove why Carlinville has the biggest heart around.

The Chamber is even getting in on the fun—we’ll be paying it forward by giving away free Chamber Insider Memberships throughout the day to people who join the movement!

How to Get Involved

You don’t need a big budget to make a big impact. Here are a few easy ways to participate:

  • Share the Love Online: Write a 5-star Google review for your favorite local mechanic, salon, or shop.

  • Give a Facebook Shout-Out: Make a post giving a public "thank you" to a local business that always goes above and beyond for you.

  • Pass It On: Pay for the person behind you in the drive-thru line, leave a kind note on a coworker's desk, or help a neighbor carry in their groceries.

How to Share & Win!

We want to see the collective impact of our community, and sharing your stories enters you to win a prize!
Every day you participate gives you a chance to win an end-of-the-week 62626 Prize Drawing that includes:

  • A Chamber Insider Membership

  • 62626 Cabin Cakes Cookie Bundle

  • An official 62626 T-Shirt

  • A gift card to ALL participating local restaurants

Because privacy settings can sometimes hide your posts, we have two ways for you to share:

  1. The Main Thread (Easiest!): Visit the Carlinville Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page and drop your kindness stories, photos, or screenshots of your reviews right in the comments of our pinned Monday post.

  2. Make a Public Post: If you post on your own Facebook or Instagram profile, make sure your post privacy is set to Public (look for the little globe icon 🌐) and use the hashtag #CarlinvilleKindness and/or tag the Carlinville Chamber.

Note: If your post is set to "Friends Only," we won't be able to track it or enter you into the giveaway!

Why you should be there:

• Free lunch + great networking with fellow Carlinville business owners

• Learn about financing resources most business owners don't know exist

• Gain knowledge you can use now or pass along when someone needs it

• Community over competition. We grow stronger together.
