The Carlinville Chamber of Commerce is bringing American Hauntings to historic Carlinville, to explore our rollicking history of crime, corruption, and ghosts that includes the corruption of the "Million Dollar Courthouse," the bootleggers and rum-runners of Prohibition that used local roads to transport illegal booze to Chicago and brought men like Al Capone to town, and more! Discover how the history of yesterday has created the hauntings of today in one of Illinois' spookiest small towns!
