From sponsoring Little League teams to funding local benefits, our businesses give back quietly all year long. Today, we are shining a light on that generosity to amplify their impact!
How to Get Involved (And Earn Your Final Drawing Entry!)
Today is all about keeping your dollars local to support the businesses and organizations that support our town. You can earn your entry in one of three ways:
Pack the Place: Grab a bite to eat or do some shopping at a participating local spot. A portion of today's proceeds at these locations will go directly to local causes. (Stay tuned for a full list of businesses hosting Pack the Place events!)
Spend Money Locally (Storefronts & Service Heroes!): Buy a gift at a boutique, or take care of errands with our service members. Get your oil changed, book a haircut, or pay a local provider - it all counts!
Support a Local Cause: Make a direct donation to your favorite local Carlinville charity, benefit, or nonprofit member.
How to Share & Win!
To get your final entry into our massive 62626 Mega-Prize Pack drawing, let us know how you supported Carlinville today by 11:59 PM:
The Main Thread (Easiest!): Head to the Carlinville Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page, find our pinned Thursday "Carlinville Gives" post, and leave a comment tagging the local businesses or nonprofit organizations you spent money with or supported today! (e.g., "Ate lunch at [Restaurant] for Pack the Place and got my truck serviced at [Local Garage]!")
Send Us a Direct Message (DM): If you made a direct donation to a charity or want to keep your spending private, just send a screenshot of your donation or receipt straight to the Chamber's inbox. (Feel free to blur out any sensitive info!)
