CARLINVILLE KINDNESS DAY
We are kicking off our 62626 Spirit Week by flooding our town with good vibes! Carlinville Kindness Day is all about intentional, simple acts of generosity. Whether it’s buying a coffee for a stranger or leaving a glowing note for a local business, today is the day to prove why Carlinville has the biggest heart around.
The Chamber is even getting in on the fun—we’ll be paying it forward by giving away free Chamber Insider Memberships throughout the day to people who join the movement!
How to Get Involved
You don’t need a big budget to make a big impact. Here are a few easy ways to participate:
Share the Love Online: Write a 5-star Google review for your favorite local mechanic, salon, or shop.
Give a Facebook Shout-Out: Make a post giving a public "thank you" to a local business that always goes above and beyond for you.
Pass It On: Pay for the person behind you in the drive-thru line, leave a kind note on a coworker's desk, or help a neighbor carry in their groceries.

Because privacy settings can sometimes hide your posts, we have two ways for you to share:
The Main Thread (Easiest!): Visit the Carlinville Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page and drop your kindness stories, photos, or screenshots of your reviews right in the comments of our pinned Monday post.
Make a Public Post: If you post on your own Facebook or Instagram profile, make sure your post privacy is set to Public (look for the little globe icon 🌐) and use the hashtag #CarlinvilleKindness and/or tag the Carlinville Chamber.
